Following the Great Depression and the attack on Pearl Harbor, Chicagoans felt the full impact of World War II. From rationing and Victory Gardens to factory work and secret projects, residents across the city and suburbs joined the fight from home. Join Joliet Junior College History Professor Dennis Doyle for an engaging look at Chicago’s wartime spirit and sacrifice.
